I aim to capture the everyday lives of working people in past centuries, partcularly women..

Many of my paintings are inspired by visits to re-enactment events, notably at Little Woodham historical village near Gosport in Hampshire. I usually paint with soft pastels or acrylic paints.

I joined Totton Art Society in 1996, took an Open University degree and am now the Website Editor.
